About Our Organization
Hello everyone! We are a HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) Community Awareness Organization named "Students Against Addiction" (SAA). We are 6 students from Round Rock High School in Austin, TX and are spreading awareness about alcohol addiction and its dire consequences. Not only do we want to reach out and help, but we also want to learn more about personal experiences and the effect of alcohol, especially on young minds.
The reason we decided to research and spread awareness about addiction is because it is simply not talked about enough. With the increasing number of teenagers and adults ruining their health over alcohol and drug abuse, we thought this idea would be perfect as everyone in their lives has at least came across one person who struggles with drinking. In this project, it is our goal and aim to reach out to as many people who have had or knows someone who has had personal experience with alcohol abuse and learn how they overcame, and help those who may need that help.

"That’s all drugs and alcohol do, they cut off your emotions in the end."
-Ringo Starr
Our Mission
Our campaign's mission is to make alcoholism more serious, teach the effects of alcohol influence on the body, and bring it into in a public light by reducing the stigma around the topic.

Our Vision
We want to reach out to experienced individuals and get their perspectives in the near future.
